How it works with BloomAble

Getting started should feel simple, respectful, and clear. We take the time to understand you first, then build supports around what actually helps.

1
Reach out
Send an enquiry by form, phone, or email. We’ll ask a few practical questions so we understand your goals, location, preferred times, and plan management (self-managed or plan-managed).
2
A proper get-to-know-you chat
We take time to understand what life looks like for you now, what you want to build toward, and what support feels helpful. If you’d like, we can also involve your family, support person, or current support network so everyone is on the same page.
3
A clear plan + the right fit
We recommend the most suitable support approach and match supports based on your goals, communication style, and preferences. You’ll receive a clear service agreement and schedule so everything is transparent from day one.
4
Start supports and build momentum
Supports are practical, respectful, and goal-focused. We don’t just “do tasks” — we mentor alongside you, building skills, confidence, and independence in real-world settings. We keep things consistent and check in regularly so supports stay aligned as life changes.
What you can expect in Week 1
  • A clear starting plan based on your goals and what matters in your day-to-day life
  • A simple routine for sessions (what we’ll work on and how we’ll track progress)
  • Agreeing on communication preferences (what works best for you and your support network, if involved)
  • First steps toward one meaningful goal, such as confidence in the community, daily living skills, study or work goals
  • A quick check-in to make sure the support feels right and adjust anything early
Our promise: support that feels human, organised, and genuinely helpful. With the right supports, your ability can bloom.

FAQs

We know starting supports can feel overwhelming. These answers are here to make things clearer.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?
BloomAble is not a registered NDIS provider. We deliver NDIS-funded supports for participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. This allows us to stay flexible, person-centred, and responsive while still working within NDIS guidelines.
What makes BloomAble’s approach different?
We take a mentor-led approach. That means combining genuine human connection with clear systems and structure so supports feel consistent, transparent, and supportive. We use tools to stay organised, but people always come first.
Are your services covered by the NDIS?
Yes. If your NDIS plan includes funding for the types of supports we provide, services can be billed directly to your plan. NDIS pricing is set by the NDIA and may change over time. We always work within the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
What types of supports do you provide?
We provide community participation and capacity-building supports, as well as Support Coordination (Level 1 and Level 2). Supports are tailored to your goals and may include daily living skills, routines, appointments, study or employment goals, and community access.
What is mentoring at BloomAble?
Mentoring at BloomAble is a person-centred support focused on guidance, encouragement, and skill-building. Mentors work alongside you to build confidence, independence, and momentum toward your personal goals.
What kinds of goals can a mentor help with?
This may include building daily living skills, increasing social confidence, exploring interests or volunteering, preparing for work or study, or becoming more independent in the community. All goals are shaped around what matters to you.
How is social and community participation funded in my plan?
Community participation may be funded under Core Supports (Assistance with Social and Community Participation) or Capacity Building (Increased Social and Community Participation). We can help you understand where this fits within your plan.
How do I know the cost before supports begin?
Before starting, we provide a clear service agreement and schedule outlining the supports, pricing, and payment method. This ensures transparency and no surprises.
Do you offer services outside of NDIS funding?
Yes. We can provide privately funded supports if you are not an NDIS participant or if you would like additional services outside of your plan.
How do I get started with BloomAble in Melbourne?
Simply get in touch by phone or email to arrange an initial conversation. We’ll talk through your goals, your plan if applicable, and what support could look like moving forward.
